LifeChoices alcohol and drug rehabilitation center Drug and Alcohol Aftercare services - Drug and alcohol and mental health aftercare program.

LifeChoices residential alcohol and drug rehabilitation program provides ongoing peer recovery support as well as a clinical rehabilitation approach to aftercare to all clients’ and their families who have been a part of our residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation center program to support them as they return home and into the community. We feel very strongly that clients should return back for after care and is provided at no cost for LifeChoices residential drug and alcohol alumni

Our knowledgeable and well experienced clinical team at LifeChoices residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation facilitate aftercare group which is offered once a week. Drug and alcohol and mental health aftercare groups include; speakers, topic discussions and educational materials.

The goal of aftercare is to support the individual in their recovery/sobriety after completion of their residential Drug and Alcohol treatment phase. Aftercare is based on supporting the individual with ongoing recovery/sobriety skills and provides ongoing feedback and support during the crucial stage in alcohol and drug treatment process of residential care. Alumni that have completed LifeChoices residential drug and alcohol treatment are encouraged to come.

While still in LifeChoices residential drug and alcohol program. Participants of the Aftercare program will meet with the Aftercare clinicians while in alcohol and drug treatment to develop a drug rehabilitation aftercare plan, which includes relapse prevention, review for triggers that may appear once the client is back in the community, early symptoms identification for potential relapse.

If it is determined while in our aftercare program that an individual would benefit from further drug and alcohol residential treatment for his addiction due to a potential relapse an immediate referral will be made back into LifeChoices residential treatment or Detox program.
